Ionisation Energies of Simple Inorganic and Organic Molecules.

Hiden quadrupole mass-spectrometers can simplify the analysis of complex cracking patterns from multi-component gas / vapour mixtures by using "Soft Ionisation". This method provides controlled ionisation to facilitate mass analysis and species discrimination / identification. The table below lists the appearance potential or first ionisation energies of simple inorganic and organic molecules.
