Hiden Analytical was represented by Yoshiaki Watanabe of Innovation Science, our Japanese partner, at Semicon Japan 2025. The exhibition took place 17-19 December 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, in Tokyo, Japan, and brought together researchers, innovators and industry leaders.

SEMI Japan’s flagship semiconductor industry event included a major exhibition, executive keynotes and “SuperTHEATER” sessions, and dedicated feature areas focused on networking and showcasing new technologies and market trends. The 2025 program highlighted the convergence of AI, sustainability, and semiconductor innovation, and welcomed a broad mix of attendees alongside multiple summits running throughout the show.

Highlights Included:

  • Opening ceremony, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Akazawa, took the stage at the opening ceremony with a video message.
  • Exhibitions from major companies from across the electronics manufacturing and design supply chain which showcased solutions and innovations.
  • Seminars, SuperTHEATER sessions and keynote presentations featuring top global executives.
  • Dedicated feature areas designed to help attendees meet people and catch the latest industry information.

Hiden Analytical at Semicon Japan 2025:

At the Hiden Analytical booth, attendees were able to meet with our representative Yoshiaki Watanabe of Innovation Science to discuss their semiconductor manufacturing needs, and we were delighted to share how our mass spectrometry solutions could help through:

  • Real-time gas analysis to support process monitoring and control during semiconductor manufacturing

  • High-sensitivity trace contaminant detection to protect vacuum integrity and reduce risk from unwanted species

  • System integration with key semiconductor tools, including deposition, etching, and surface-treatment systems

  • Advanced process diagnostics to help optimise yield and strengthen process reliability
