Hiden Analytical will be attending the 73rd JSAP Spring Meeting, taking place 15-18 March 2026 on Oookayama Capmus at the Institute of Science Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan. Representing us will be Yoshiaki Watanabe and Hayato Tanaka of Innovation Science, our Japanese partner, who will be onsite to showcase how Hiden’s instrumentation supports applied physics.

The 73rd JSAP Spring Meeting 2026 presents a technically broad symposium programme positioned at the intersection of applied physics, semiconductor innovation, and emerging advanced technologies. The programme spans high-value themes such as fault-tolerant quantum computing, atomic layer processing, scalable semiconductor manufacturing, semiconductor characterisation, metasurfaces, MEMS, electron beam technology, neuromorphic computing, thin-film materials, energy conversion, nanobiotechnology, and AI-enabled autonomous materials research, alongside public-facing sessions on AI and semiconductors, semiconductor technology for well-being, and space-industry opportunities

What to Expect?

  • A technically diverse symposium programme spanning fault-tolerant quantum computing, atomic layer processing, nanobiotechnology, energy conversion, and scalable semiconductor manufacturing, reflecting strong crossover between frontier research and industrial application.
  • High-value sessions focused on semiconductor characterisation, next-generation electron sources, non-volatile memory, and neuromorphic computing, all highly relevant to instrumentation-led R&D and process innovation.
  • Strong emphasis on microfabrication, MEMS, thin-film materials, devices, and processes, making the event especially relevant for audiences involved in thin-film deposition, vacuum systems, and advanced materials development.
  • Public-facing discussions on themes such as AI and semiconductors, business opportunities in space technology, and semiconductor-enabled well-being, broadening the event’s relevance beyond core academic attendees.
  • An accompanying JSAP EXPO that is open to all visitors and positioned as a showcase for the latest products and technical solutions, creating a strong environment for supplier visibility and technical conversations.
