We’re pleased to announce that Mike Thomas will be attending the upcoming IUTAM Symposium on Chemo-Mechanics at Jesus College, Oxford—a unique gathering that bridges the gap between mechanics and chemistry to address some of the most urgent challenges in material degradation.

From battery degradation and metallic corrosion to hydrogel failure and hydrogen embrittlement, the symposium will feature 40 world-leading invited speakers from academia and industry, sharing novel insights through multi-physics models, high-resolution experiments, and cutting-edge simulations.
