This week, some of the Hiden Analytical team proudly took part in the All Aboard Youth Rowing “Boat Race Challenge”.
Two teams of four brave rowers went head-to-head, mirroring the 6,778-metre distance of the iconic annual Boat Race on the River Thames. Spirits were high, competitive energy was even higher, and all in the name of raising funds for All Aboard Youth Rowing, a fantastic local charity helping change lives through sport.
Originally founded in 2016 the initiative set out to engage young people from across Warrington — providing access to rowing and introducing them to a sporting journey many would never have otherwise experienced.
What began with just one coach and eight schools has grown into a region-wide programme reaching 36 state schools, engaging 400 young people across the North West during the 2023/24 school year. But it’s not just about rowing. The programme is carefully designed to build confidence, resilience, and wellbeing in every participant.
A huge well done to our rowing teams and to those who donated and supported the cause. We’re proud to back such an incredible initiative that’s making a real difference in our community.
