Trading for over 40 years, Hiden Analytical Limited is a manufacturer of mass spectrometers for vacuum, gas, plasma and surface science. Our mass spectrometers can be used for a wide range of applications. Some examples include lithium-ion battery development, fusion research and plasma treatment of polymers for medical applications. We also offer bespoke design services for client interactive development of solutions to meet specific requirements.
Position Summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate Sales Engineer, with the opportunity for international travel. Working Mon-Fri as part of our dynamic sales team you will be responsible for representing the company and our products within France, Italy, Spain and the Middle East initially. You will be working with local representatives to establish the customers’ requirements, promote the Hiden product range and maintain working relationships with existing clients.
The candidate must have/be:
- Background in science, ideally with a degree in physical chemistry or physics.
- Willing to travel internationally.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and able to work to high standard of quality and procedures whilst maintaining deadlines required.
- Proficient in IT and willing to learn new systems.
- Good comprehension and written skills, which will be necessary for understanding tender requirements and submitting tenders.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable:
- Sales experience in a scientific environment.
