Advanced analysis for a new generation of energy production

The development of eco-friendly techniques to produce “green hydrogen” from water has increased over recent years as environmental pressures grow.

Overview

Hydrogen produced is used as a clean fuel for vehicles and fuel cells, as well as for industrial processes.  “Green” hydrogen is produced by the electrolysis of water, using renewable sources of electricity and is considered an environmentally friendly method of producing hydrogen gas for a variety of applications.  Hiden’s range of gas analysis instruments enable real time quantification of hydrogen yield for process qualification. Dissolved species analysers and DEMS systems allow for dissolved species to be analysed in real time, giving an insight for R&D teams to optimise the process for maximum yield.
