Dr David Lundie recently installed 3 CATLABs in the Institute of Catalysis, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria. The group will be doing temperature programmed studies (TPR/O/D) and researching the water gas shift reaction (WGS). The academy was also the site of a previous CATLAB install in 2011.
The Institute of Catalysis of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) was established in 1983 , based on the Laboratory “Kinetics and Catalysis”, which began its activities as early as 1963, and is a leading centre for catalytic science in the country and Southeastern Europe.
